Best Way to Clean and Store Garden Tools

It’s that time of year again. As gardening season comes to a close, here is an easy way to store your gardening tools for the winter. An added bonus is that this trick will help to keep your tools clean and rust-free!

Fill a large bucket halfway with regular sand.  Pour in a quart of motor oil (any type).  Then, you can store your tools directly in the bucket of sand, pointed sides in, and voila!  You have an easy, DIY garden tool cleaning and storage system for the winter!
