Prevent Cooking Fires This Holiday Season

With the holiday season right around the corner, your kitchen will be in full use over the next couple of months.  So, this is the time to ensure fire-safety in your kitchen.  The bigger the feast, the more chance of having an unexpected mishap.

Did you know that more cooking fires occur on Thanksgiving than on any other day during the year?  

To prevent any problems, make sure you have a working fire extinguisher in your kitchen that is rated for grease fires.  If you already have one, you should check the pressure on it, and replace any outdated extinguishers.
