April 3, 2015  Which Direction to Run Your Ceiling Fan  

Have you ever wondered whether it’s better to run your ceiling fan forward, or in reverse?

Here is a quick tip.  Keeping in mind that heat always rises, the direction in which to run your fan depends upon the season:

In cooler months:  run your fan clockwise during the winter to help distribute heat throughout the room

In warmer months: run your fan counter-clockwise, to help drive heat downward, which will make the room feel cooler
