Based on the Pythagorean Theorem, what is known as the “3 4 5 Method” is a foolproof way to square up a new wall to an existing wall.  It is a simple technique that sounds much more complicated than it actually is. 

The 3 4 5 Method has many applications, in addition to when you are constructing a wall or a room.  It can be used when you are tiling a floor, building a deck, or basically any construction project where you need to create a 90 degree angle.  Once you know it, you will always remember it!  Watch this video to learn exactly how it works. You will find yourself using it again and again.
