June 27, 2016 Pet Hair Removal Hack
Removing pet hair from carpets and stairs can be a real chore. If you have a dog that sheds a lot, and you have carpeting, you know all about this problem!
Try this new, innovative way to remove pet hair from carpets and stairs quickly and easily, using, or all things, a squeegee! It easily pulls hairs out that are embedded in the carpeting, enabling you to easily pick them up or vacuum up the pile.

good luck! 🙂
love the squeege for corners. i have been using rubber gloves. works great also.
thank you for your helpful tips, by the way
thanks, Lois!!
I use those yellow plastic gloves that you can buy anywhere to wash dishes, etc., to remove pet hair on clothes or furniture. Simply put on the gloves and rub, in a pulling motion downward if on clothes. Works great and much better than tape!
thanks for sharing your tip!
Great idea! Thanks!
you’re welcome, Glad you liked it!
Oh my gosh! It’s brilliant and I am so in love with Zach! My Yorkie-Poo grandchild doesn’t shed but the cats sure do!!! Thanks so much!
Thanks for writing, Eileen! Yep, Zak is a keeper, even though he is high-maintenance at times. 🙂
hi Leah! love your pup. Great advice. Hope you are doing well. Lisa
Aww, love that Zack and your tip! I was using rubber dishwashing gloves to wipe up after my 6 golden’s! NO MORE sweaty hands! I’ll even attach the squeegee to an extension pole to save these tired ‘ole knees! Love it!
Thanks for writing, Suzanne! 🙂
I’m going to try it on the couch. Thanks
