Great tips! I had no idea about the serrated edge for scribing, the slot n the end or most importantly that the hook was part of the last inch!

Great overview. What is the brand of tape called that you used when showing the tape base measurement (in the window sill where you added on the 3in.)? I noticed that it had both the 16th’s marked AND decimal numbers. I this called a specific kind of tape? Where can I easily find one like that please?
