How to Make a Long, Straight Cut with a Hand Saw

There might come a time when you need to make a long, straight cut in some wood, and perhaps you down own a table saw or circular saw.  

Well, here is some good news… you can do the job with just an ordinary hand saw!  The trick is to create the simplest of jigs, which guides the saw as you cut.
