How to Use a Manual Tile Cutter – A Beginner’s Guide.  When you need to make some simple, straight cuts in ceramic or porcelain tile, nothing beats a manual tile cutter for ease of operation.  It is also a relatively inexpensive tool, and so it is a must-have if you plan to do any tiling in your home.  There is a bit of a trick to using a manual tile cutter, though, and sometimes it can be helpful to see how it is done.
